KINGSLYNN – Indie/Retro

Lovin’ the retro synth sounds, electric guitar and bass riffs for this song. I went through all their music and this one stands out the most because of it’s catchy and upbeat electric and groovy bass lines. Words and lyrics are a big deal for me, and for some reason, I just can’t seem to understand what the singer is saying. I was also unable to find the lyrics to this song online. Can anyone make out what she’s saying? Haha~ Screen Shot 2017-10-05 at 3.09.28 AM.pngThis is one of those Christian bands that don’t really seem to identify themselves in the genre but have subtle hints pointing to the faith. The lyrics to their other songs are poetic with lots of imageries, and all of their songs sound like they’re using a lot of minor keys. They also don’t have a bio online… but they’ve been making music together for about three years. I thought it was interesting that they’ve worked on one of their EPs with Eric Owyoung (super talented musician and songwriter) from Future of Forestry (and Something like Silas); both some of my favorite music I used to listen to.

They’ve got new music coming out November 10, 2017, Into the White Light so be on the lookout for that if you’re interested 🙂
