Marshall Marshall is a guy (producer + singer) and girl (singer) duo. Their music is uplifting and fun to listen to if you’re in a pop/edm mood. Here’s a playlist of some of their best tracks, listen all the way through and be blessed!

So, worship music is beautiful. Worship music is music that ushers in the presence of God. They are also songs we sing to God to declare who He is in our lives. And most worship songs are usually mellow in tones and slower ballads; it brings you to a place of meditation and soaking. There are worship music out there that are upbeat and fast, and Hillsong’s Young and Free album foreruns contemporary mainstream influences into corporate worship music. There are not a lot of Christian or worship bands out there who mainly focus on EDM (electronic dance music) and I’ve been on a quest in search for good, upbeat worship/Christian music. ‘Cause well you know, there are days when you want to listen to worshipful music that makes you want to shake it like you’re on the dance floor.

I recently watched this encouraging VLOG by Jonathan Ogden (UK) from Rivers and Robots and also the creative founder of Set Sail creative ministry. As Christians, we tend to box in our creativity, especially in the way we write worship music. But whether we are writing for corporate or not, we need to recognize that we have the permission to creatively express ourselves with everything we’ve got in us. In the end, if the music is one that brings connection to God, that is worship.
